Finding The Horn

It's right here. It's perfectly visible in the white snow. But what is it? It's not a rock. She had never seen something like that before. Red like blood, full of magic. Dark magic. She used the rest of her magic and pick the strange thing up.

"You are starving..." The deep voice came from nowhere.

Chrysalis gasped.

"Who's there?!" She may be cold, hungry and weak, but she still can fight... fight for her life.

She cannot die here. Not now. She want to survive. She want a revenge. She will have a revenge...

"Don't worry. We won't hurt you. We cannot hurt anybody... for now."

"What's that supposed to mean? Where are you? I'm warning you, I will not..."

"I know."

Chrysalis looked closely at the thing. It can't be... could that be... unicorn's horn?

"Who are you?" Chrysalis asked.

"A ruler. Just like you." The voice answered quietly.

Chrysalis gulped. She almost forgot. When was the last time someone called her a ruler? A Queen?

"How do you know I'm a ruler?" She asked.

"We can feel it. You ARE a ruler. A Queen. But without her Kingdom..."

Chrysalis grimaced. Is she really talking to the horn in the middle of Arctic North? Yes. Well...she lost her mind.

"You are not crazy, Changeling Queen." The voice said.

"Oh really?" Chrysalis smiled. "I see you know pretty much everything about me. Maybe it's your turn. I want to know something about you too. The only thing I know is that you are a horn who used to be a ruler."

The voice chuckled.

"Well, in previous days, we used to be someone more than just a horn... someone important."

"No way!" She said sarcastically.

"You know the felling, right?"

The smile disappeared from her face.

"How do you know how I feel?!" She screamed. "You have no idea...!"

"You were a Queen of the Swarm. But you've lost your Kingdom. If it wasn't the truth...you wouldn't be here now all alone."

"They betrayed me!!!" She screamed.

Damn, she is talking to the horn. But... maybe... it's not a horn. Maybe she isn't crazy. Maybe it knows...

"I was their Queen! I did everything for them! I took over Canterlot for them, I fed them, and they just betrayed me! Because that cursed ponies..."

"... came and told them there is another way." The voice said.

"Yes... y-you know that ponies?""

"We bet that these... ponies were connected with a unicorn named... Twilight Sparkle".

Chrysalis was breathing heavily. He knows.

"We know the felling, your majesty." The voice said angrily. "We are the King of the Crystal Empire. But our subjects betrayed us just like yours did. But we will have our revange..."

"I would do everything... everything to see them pay..." She hissed.

"Everything?"

"Everything." She looked at the horn.

"So, we have the same goal, Queen. What if I told you you will have your revange?"

"How?"

"Help me restore my body... I will feed you to make you strong again. And then we will make them pay. For everything..."

Chrysalis could feel the power around her. She liked that felling. She liked that stranger. She almost forget that she was starving.

"I don't know your name...you have a name, right?" She asked.

"...Sombra". The voice hissed.

"I'm Queen Chrysalis... and I'm listening, King Sombra." She said with a weak smile.
